Alissa Rumsey is a registered dietitian, certified intuitive eating counselor, and the author of Unapologetic Eating: Make Peace With Food and Transform Your Life. She is the founder of Alissa Rumsey Nutrition and Wellness, a weight-inclusive virtual nutrition practice. Alissa supports nutrition entrepreneurs as a business coach and supervisor, helping them to confidently start and grow their businesses. Aimee Tritt, MS, RD, LD

Aimee Tritt is a Lecturer at the University of Minnesota and a practicing dietitian at Hennepin Healthcare and Cedar Hill Therapy. As both an instructor and a clinician, Aimee offers her students a well-informed perspective on current issues in nutrition counseling and clinical practice. In her practice, she combines concepts of intuitive and mindful eating, body respect, and food as nourishment for both physical and mental health to help her clients overcome a troubled relationship with food. Her expertise in motivational interviewing, weight management, child and adolescent nutrition, and disordered eating have made her a valued member of the Department of Food Science and Nutrition’s Dietetics Steering Committee, as well as a lead course developer for the new MPS program in Dietetics.

Erin Gonzalez is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, specializing in dysfunctional eating and prevention and treatment of disordered eating and eating disorders. She is a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist and Intuitive Eating Counselor.

Julie Feldman is a nationally recognized registered dietitian and author whose work has spanned multiple areas of practice. Julie was the media representative for the Michigan Dietetic Association early on in her career. Through that avenue Julie became an often-featured RD on NBC News, FOX 2 News and ABC News in her hometown area of Metro-Detroit. Julie ‘s passion for public speaking and for connecting the dots between trauma and nutrition lead to her creation of the Trauma Informed Counseling session for the CDR Certificate in Training in Obesity Interventions for Pediatrics and Adults.

Julie is also the author of the book Grocery Makeover: small changes for big results, which was published in 2014. Julie is currently the CEO of her own private practice Thrive Nutrition and Wellness LLC in West Bloomfield, Michigan where she sees clients one-on-one, helping to create positive changes in their lives. Dina R. She holds a Master of Science in Nutrition from CUNY-Lehman College where she is also an adjunct lecturer of undergraduate and graduate nutrition studies. She received bachelor’s degree in nutrition from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo and her Master’s degree in Public Health from the University of Minnesota where she earned the Ruth Stief Leadership award. Where does this summit take place?

This will be a fully virtual event hosted through zoom. You can join from anywhere.

What if I can't attend the live sessions?

Live attendance is encouraged, but not required. You will get access to the replays. There will be a handful of prizes for those who attend live, and if watching the replay, then there will be a prize drawn and you can participate if you submit a homework/takeaway assignment before the end of the weekend.

What is your refund policy?

We do not have a refund policy. Depending on which ticket you purchase, you will have access to the replays for 6-12 months.

Do I have to be an RD to join?

Absolutely not! While all. the presenters are dietitians, you do not need to be a registered dietitian to attend. This event is designed to empower and support all health professionals, entrepreneurs, students/interns, and coaches who want to enhance their counseling and coaching skills.

Are CEUs provided?

9 CEUs will be provided to RDs and DTRs for both live attendance or watching the replays (pending CDR approval)
